Through an agreement with Plastic Credit Exchange (PCX), we are happy to announce that we have arranged to offset our plastic waste for 2021!
We forecasted the total plastic that will be produced through our operations, and obtained from PCX the equivalent plastic credits to neutralize the waste. The partnership is meant to significantly accelerate Kuehne+Nagel’s sustainability drive in the Philippines.
Efforts to offset its plastic waste with PCX include post-consumer plastic collection, pick-up, delivery, and recycling. To further increase awareness, we will also launch learning sessions for our employees.
This is yet another testament to our serious commitment to give back to our planet.
